This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Haruhi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

She smirks at this, and with flames spewing out flames from a great flap of her wings. Really, it comes out rather phoenix-y. The red wings beat down and the gusts of wind that create ignite as she takes flight, looking smug as she does this]

[Edward blinks, staring up at her in the sky. She made that look really easy. That's just unfair...]

How'd you do that!?

[godbent]

Simply! After all, it's not that hard!

[She says this while still flapping her wings and keeping afloat. Perhaps a little tauntingly.]

That's not a very detailed explanation.

[Is there an instruction manual for this? Diagrams? At least a step-by-step process...]

Well flying isn't something you plan out, it's something you feel! [With a large fire flap down, frowning at him]

That doesn't make any sense to me. There has to be a method!

You're never going to get anywhere with that sort of opinion! [And she snickers, pointing a finger at him while keeping in the air, a trail of flames following the tip of it]

[Oi, don't fling your fire around, you brat. Stubbornly Edward straightens up and starts flapping his wings, determined to get off the ground and join her in the air. If only so he can show her up and maybe wipe that grin off her face.]

Come on, you can do it, can't you?! [It's mean to be a cheering on but... it does come off a little goading. Probably because she's still doing a pyrotechnic show as she flaps up here]

Damn right I can! Just shut up and let me concentrate!

[He just... needs... to get off... the ground...!

...okay, a few inches off totally counts, right?]

Come on, I thought you could do it! Sustain it, already!

I am freaking sustaining...!!

[Sustaining those few inches, anyway.

....

Okay but no, seriously, give him a minute and he's finally off the ground, making his way towards her, albeit wobbly. And potentially on a collision course. He's still not great at this.]

[Wow what the hell he- he is coming towards her?! Wait, what-]

Hey stop it!

[Five, four-]

I'm trying-! This is harder than it-

[OOF. Okay, that could've gone better. And now he has to untangle himself.]

Dammit...!

[godbent]

[Not to mention she can't support flight with the added weight and being thrown off her flapping. Plus he might have been hit by a few flames as they plummet towards the ground. O o p s]

[AUGH THIS WAS THE WORST IDEA EVER

No amount of flailing can help him regain his flight, and now that he's on fire, the lightning takes over defensively, zapping the area around them and super-charging it with static. At least he's on the bottom if/when they inevitably crash.]

[Ow-! Okay no the static doesn't hurt That much, at least probably now as much as fire could potentially or a higher voltage could, but it does make her start and accidentally pop some more flames into existence as she tries to recoil but- tangled-

They weren't all that high though so--

BOOM, ground]

[...Erk. Okay, that could have gone a lot better. Unfortunately it didn't, and Edward finds himself with a face full of Haruhi. Awkward, much?]

If you're sorry, then -- I don't know, help me get up.

[Uuuugh. She tries to roll out but her wing is stuck on something. :T ]

[Edward mumbles something vaguely irritable and unintelligible in response, pushing himself off of her and offering a hand out to pull her up as well.]

[Good man. She'll even take the hand, though she's wary for electricity if it's the metal one]

[Thankfully he has enough sense to use his flesh hand - even if he didn't like her he'd know better, considering how well carbon fiber conducts electricity. He doesn't want to end every encounter he has while possessed taking someone to the clinic or something.]

You okay?

Surprisingly. [Sheesh, that bumped up her wings some but she doesn't feel sick. Yet. Either these are less fragile... or Ed being the one who was on the bottom means he took the brunt of it. And as such-] You?

[Edward glances behind himself - landing on his back had jostled him some, maybe busted a few feathers at most, but he's had worse and shrugged it off just fine, so he does that now.]

I'm fine. But that's why I wanted a real explanation for how to do it!

Well, aren't you talented? Show more talent for it, next time! [Jeez. She flaps her wings, trying t get a weird feeling out of her. She shakes up his arms too.]
