Hmm, that's true. Specially being summer, the sweat would have made it last less. Not to mention it could attract the animals.
[Don't ask how she knows those things. She was young, she had a boyfriend and she likes experiments, really it's not hard to imagine.]
If it was winter it would hold well, though, so long as she's careful to not smudge it.
