Appointments Post ( II )

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. Alright. [And she stands aside. Yep, come on in.]

Thank you. So... how have you been? And Shiki?

Fine. [Still sour about Ed not being the best with her heartfelt offer. OR Winry shutting the book on her. But she tries not to focus on these things right now, even if she's only dwelling on them because of who's in front of her. She averts he eyes and sighs]

We've been fine.

[Winry runs her fingers a little on the furniture as she passes by.]

That's good. [She stops at the end of the couch, and faces Haruhi.] Could I please ask you to teach me how to cook?

You already can cook to some extent. Isn't that selling yourself short? [She resists saying she offered to bring meals over. She resists that she wanted to do that]

I don't think I can cook well enough to keep three people [since she's including herself] well fed for at least a month or two.

Didn't he tell you-? I offered to bring you guys dinner, if you want. [That's out automatically before... she sighs and nods] But fine, I could do that.

He didn't tell me that...

But thanks. If you don't happen to be around for some reason... just knowing would be nice.

Jerk. [Muttered. But she nods] But yeah, like I said, of course I can help you.

I really appreciate this.

It's not that much to ask, you know.

It's still a big favor.

Is not. [:T Seriously, don't push these things. She just sits down and adjusts her position. She's not 100% sure she had a plan today, and she is after all Sour about Winry hanging up on her three days ago. but oh well. It really isn't a big favor for her to do for her girl.]

[Sigh.]

Anyway, it'd be nice having you over for dinner too. I'm sure Elicia would love it.

So... what's been up with you?

Just what I've been doing - studying magic, I offered to babysit Elicia, [...That whole thing with the chat about guys post three days ago. Shrug] Dealing with Shiki.

Yes? Neku vanished at the end of that whole fiasco when I was Haruki, remember? I know that was months ago now, but the summer's been long for her as a result of that.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Has she been all right?

Relatively speaking. [A lot happened. But she's not... really one to want to talk about these things. She should go occupy herself in the kitchen or something. She doesn't feel like it now though]

Yeah... I know that can be. [Like when Haruki left, how many times Ed left, and other people leaving...]

So Ed and I talked to each other the other night.

He, uh... he manned up and asked me out.

Oh, huh. [she's been weighing for a long time how she would react to that news. Right now, though, so soon after she was talking about it's inevitability to both Edward and Winry (and both of them getting mad at her for it) she actually feels indignation first. How dare they get so huffy with her when they just turn around and do it days later. How dare Winry hang up on her or Ed yell at her. Idiots.]
