It's not an Accident, but it's not some grand plan or anything. Jeez, if you think too conspiratorially you're going to miss all the actual intrigue, Kyon.

Nothing related to the boat, obviously. It's just a boat.

Well, if you're sure there's no massive alien conspiracy, then I guess I'll take your word for it.

['You know, if we were at home, your guarantee that something was just a boat would be the surest sign of someone coming up to me and telling me this boat was actually an interdimensional space bug or something.']

If it were a alien conspiracy, it would be with C'Thun anyway, and that'd work in our favor. So either way, it's no problem!

And who's C'Thun again? My memory's not what it used to be.

He's an alien who came down in to the enclosure and meant to get people out of it, he just couldn't breathe the atmosphere and had to leave before he accomplished it. But he said he'd be back.

How long ago was this?

Right. Setting that aside... What's the real history of the boat? Did you ever tell me?

I don't know, actually. Maybe? [She considers a moment, but then concludes she can't really recall. Either way-] It's not a complicated story there, unlike the submarine. I decided I wanted to try sailing, so I commissioned a boat. That Edward Elric guy made the thing after I had several Brigade members gather the materials, and Hiccup spent a lot of time fixing it up before he left.

Well, you didn't tell me about the submarine, either.

['Although I can't say I'm surprised about the flotilla anyway.']

Nice of them. How exactly do you pay for a commission around here, anyway?

Everyone except for Ed was a member of my Brigade. Why would I pay them?

He only needed to clap his hands together and follow my blueprints, if I paid him it would only be like 500 yen.
