41st: The Beans of Haruhi Suzumiya
[Voice]
You know, we're coming up on February. [...] I guess the obvious thing is Valentines, given the weird fetish that the Organization has for it, but there's also Setsubun. People from Japan know about that, right? The SOS-Brigade's never really done something for it, but we should this year.
[That said, her voice doesn't have a ton of gusto in it. It's sort of dulled, just... stating things matter-of-factly, almost bored. She's still upset about Minato and various other problems associated with that. She still wants to be alone, but being alone isn't going to help anyone else. She's not quite altruistic enough to care about everyone, but there's a few people...]
I guess the lunar new year would be around now too, wouldn't it? But it's hard to call that unless anyone's been charting the moon too carefully here. And Foundation Day and we missed Coming of Age Day, but who cares about both of those?
[...Though, there's also that thing with Richard and Isamu. Nope, don't care.]
Whatever. Haruhi Suzumya, over and out.
[And if you want action, she is at the Brigade's HQ. Sort of wanting and sort of not wanting people to step in]

[Of course she did, yeah, she knew it was a clue all along. She even closes her eyes and nods in a sort of all-knowing manner.]
Is it a good clue? It's about a five... Or a seven, five or seven. Can't tell, ahaha!
[Action]
[Action]
[You hear that spider? A five. Good job. Yotsuba shakes her hand a little, causing the spider to drop from her hand on a thread of silk. Whoaaah, she's never actually seen a spider do the whole web thing before. Her eyes grow wide and she stares at the spider and the thread on her hand, gently swaying the spider back and forth.]
Ohhh, what does it mean?
[She might be getting a tiny bit sidetracked by the spider now.]
[Action]
[Fake drama is the best drama as she crouches down to get more level]
[Action]
[The spider starts climbing back up the thread to Yotsuba's hand, until she shakes her hand around and the spider slips back down. So it starts to climb back up again. Rinse and repeat.]
Did you see?! Look, it's still there! [...!] The fish! The fish isn't there, but the spider is still there!! The clot thickens!
[Man her deductive powers are good.]
Spider didn't do it, he's clean, squeaky clean!
[Action]
[...Must not laugh]
[Action]
[Thanks spider, you can go back to doing whatever it is spiders do. So just get off of her hand and go back on the ground... No, stop trying to crawl back onto her hand. Stop it. Stop it. Spider you are making this more awkward than it has to be.]
... Get off!! Listen to Yotsuba, I am the detective!
[Action]
[Action]
He's not listening to the detective! Why?! [She holds her hand out.]</small. Take him in custardy!
[Action]
[Action] 1/2
Re: [Action]
Okay, he learnt his lesson now.
[Being dropped like that is a worthy punishment for a spider that doesn't listen to detective Yotsuba.]
Gotta find more clues, these cases don't solve themselves! Phew!
[Action]
[Action]
Eventually she comes back to stare into the tank again, watching the fish float around in the water. Hmm. Her expression soon becomes serious as she continues looking at the fish,]
To find the fish you have to think like a fish. Like swimming. [...] Glub glub glub.
[Action]
[Action]
You too, think like a fish! A swordfish! [Patting the tank a few times before waving her arms about, trying to imitate the fins of a fish.] Sploosh splash, come on, swim!
[Cue Yotsuba 'swimming' through the air as she moves as though she's swimming the breaststroke. Feeling as though the tank has been thoroughly explored she heads off to look behind the front desk. What cool stuff can she poke her nose into back here?]
