Appointments Post ( I )

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Haruhi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

Sounds weird. [Can she pick him up? She tries to pick him up.]

[She can try. Sekai, for a rooster, is enormous. And while cooperative, the sheet bulk of him is probably awkward for handling purposes]

[Winry can handle him, she's picked up chickens and such before. Even if it is awkward and he is big. She's just setting him down on the log between them.]

[Meanwhile, she's still swatting bugs]

Ugh, stupid jungles.

[Winry returns to scratching Sekai and looks out at the thick mass of vegetation before them.] I wonder if this is an experiment or a mistake.

I'm going to guess mistake. Things effecting the environment have tended to be.

I'm not looking forward to a fake apology.

Yeah, those are getting a little old.

[And now the jungle's starting to fade back to the living room. Phew]

Oh look. This is much better.

Amen. [And Sekai chirps as they come back to being on the couch. The living room seems normal at least...]

[Winry stands.] Is there anything special you feed him when he's been a particularly good boy?

I usually just go for types of corn. Sweet corn is a preference of his... You're the farm girl, is there anything else that chickens like extra-special?

I didn't live on a farm, I live near farms. And they like sunflower seeds and mealworms. I guess.

...What's a mealworm?

The larva form of a common beetle. They're yellow-ish orange and about half the size of your index finger. They're mostly used as fishing bait where I live, though.

Oh. I don't have that though...

[Maybe she should get it? She idly goes to head to the kitchen]

[Winry pats Sekai on the head and stands to follow Haruhi.]

Not even sunflower seeds?

Well I don't keep them around. Shiki or Neku or that new guy might.

Let's check. [So she's in your kitchen now, checkin' your cabinets.]

[Cool, cool. She'll be looking too, in the drawers. Wow, they have that many salt shakers?]

[So far? Nothing. Just some junk food... Oh and this one has the plates and bowls.]

[...Nope, no seeds where she's looking. There's a lot of stuff to be found - spices, foods, etc. But still]

It doesn't look like you have any... [She closes all the cabinets she opened and steps back, disappointed.]

Like I said, we've got corn and other stuff he eats readily enough though. [She nods here, glancing back to confirm Sekai's still in the living room]

Where do you keep that? Can I feed him?
