This can be used to thread with Haruhi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[And really that's all she has to say for now, meaning she'll be pretty quiet until Haruhi tells her they need to move again. She'll just...be mourning here. That's all.]

[Nah... a little sand in her everywhere is a small price to pay to hold her friend right now. She'll collect her to go back to the house and possibly tell beat in a bit, of course, but for now, well... this is a moment in which she just acts supportive for Shiki.
