Appointments Post ( I )

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Haruhi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[...Welp. She's caught. She face turns a nice shade of pink, and she tries to pull the skirt of the outfit down a little more. This thing does not fit her.]

H-hey Neku. [Slowly she heads toward the fridge.]

[He's quickly turning back around to focus on the dishes.]

How's... H-how are you? [Oh jeeze that was terrible. His voice is stiff and awkward and he's clearly failing at talking right now. Let's just try to act like everything is normal. Yes.]

Al-all right, I guess. I came here to check on Haruhi. I'm... well her nurse, because she's sick.

[Winry opens the fridge, and bends over to reach in for the orange juice.]

Oh, so she has you playing nur—

[OH GOD. Choosing now to glance over at Winry while she's bending over it the worst timing ever. That bowl he was just holding? Is clattering loudly in the sink as he drops it.

He is even blushing.]

[The loud noise makes Winry jump a little after she tries grabs hold of the carton of OJ. The jump, however, causes it to tip over and fall on the floor. Oops.]

Wh-wha-!? Are you all right?

I-I'm fine! [Just dying from embarrassment over here. And trying not to stare because that is rude. Though he didn't mean to startle her, oops.] It just. Uh, slipped. ...sorry.

O-okay. [Winry shuts the fridge, and picks up the orange juice. She'll walk by Neku to get a glass from a cabinet.]

You didn't break anything, did you?

N-no, I think it's fine.

[Trying not to look. Trying not to look...!

okay maybe a tiny glanceNO, LOOKING AWAY. Neku bows his head to try and hide his face because he knows he's blushing. Just. going back to cleaning the dishes now.]

[She has to reach a little for a glass because she's a little short, but it's not too much trouble. When she gets the glass down she begins to pour the juice.]

So, um- how've you been? [Trying to be polite here. And act normal.]

[Neku finishes rinsing off the dishes then grabs the dish towel he set there next to the sink. He's still trying not to look at her, even if it's kind of rude not to look at someone when they're talking to you. He shrugs, but just slightly because his back is pretty much stiff at this point.]

Okay, I guess. Just still trying to settle back in. How's Haruhi doing?

Her fever broke. I think she's just trying to get rid of the congestion now.[When she's finished pouring she'll pass Neku again to put the juice in the sink.]

Haruhi will be fine after a little more rest.

[...yeah there is an occasional glance from him but HE CAN'T HELP IT. Especially when she keeps passing by him. So flustered here oh man.]

That's... good. Hopefully she starts feeling better soon.

Yeah, if I'm lucky I'll only have to wear this thing today.

[With the orange juice put away and the glass full, she makes to exit the kitchen.]

It was nice speaking to you again, Neku. [Even if it was awkward.]

Y-yeah. Nice speaking with you, too.

[Sob. Just going to go back to what he's doing. Later, Winry.]

[Sorry, Neku. With a wave goodbye she leaves the kitchen to go give Haruhi her dose of Vitamin C.]

[and Haruhi is all pouty and waiting here now!! But pouty. Oh well]

[Winry sets the glass carefully on Haruhi's cluttered nightstand.]

[Taking it to sip! wow okay that was more tart than expected (and she wanted lemons) oh well, let's just set it back down and get to it in a bit]

[Winry sits down on the bed, and rest a hand on Haruhi's knee just to have some physical contact.]

You had a fever. I think it does.

No way, I'm not nearly as sick and...!

[SNEEZE]

[Winry scratches the back of her neck. Haruhi looked like she needed a win, but... Winry needed a win too. See she had been sick for a long while, and is holding out on a talk she really should have with Haruhi. She doesn't want to lose the relationship she has with Haruhi, but at the same she knows she want someone who shares the same goals as her. So putting that off has caused her a lot of stress and emotional exhaustion as of late.]

I don't know Haruhi, you're still pretty under the weather. [Though, arguably, Winry's sickness was worse and lasted longer.]
