[In light of everything, Haruhi has been feeling more than a little nostalgic. Back at North high, during the start of the year and the cultural festival in November she dressed up in a certain outfit in order to attract attention. It's sort of too cold to wear it for advertisement like she used to, but it doesn't breathe at all so if she's inside and has a coat handy she ought to be okay...

Thus, in Seventh Heaven today Haruhi is here to have lunch and tea dressed like this. Yes, it's outlandish, but deal with it. (sorry no guitar though) Her journal is next to her. Feel free to notice or talk with her]

I didn't want things to change. I wanted to keep the status quo of all my friendships and everything else.

...Seriously? [She even stands at her table, to walk over to him. That's literally one of the stupidest things she's ever heard]

What, have you never wanted something to stay just as it is forever because any change may ruin it all?

I didn't try to 'systematically control it', I just kept my distances from getting more involved. I already said I've no excuse, so it's not as if this would work as one.

[And then she jabs a finger into his chest, shoving him forward with it. (in a bunny suit)]

That's so stupid! That's beyond stupid! That's just- what the hell! We're i>friends, friends! I've admitted that and moved forward and you- you stopped?! What's the matter with you, do you know how insulting that?!

[He didn't expect that, though he should have, so he stumbles back, he doesn't fall but he takes a few steps back.]

I know we're friends! That's the point, I admitted that as well and decided to keep it as it was, I didn't stop anything! You make it sound as if I fell behind or something.

You did though, don't you get it?! I called you on it! When's the last time we hung out?! When's the last time we did anything that wasn't about you being my servant?! That's ridiculous!

That's true but it's not as if we stopped being friends, and I said I had been wrong and was sorry already! What else do you want?!

[Keeps stepping back, trying to get away from the jabbing.]

But we did! The minute you stopped we did-!

[And she drops her fingers. Fine. she hangs her head :C ]

So let's be friends again.

[But he didn't stop being her friend. Did he? No, that wasn't his intention at all, he just kept his distances but... He wouldn't be the servant of a person he's not friends with. Still, there's no point arguing that, he supposes. She has her opinion, he has his own, it's not bad to leave it like that if the result is the one they both want.]
