Appointments Post ( II )

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Haruhi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[She taps the big fish tank next to her. It seems the bluegill in it is named Pogo. But she takes the bag right after that, muttering a thanks as she does, and makes to open it up and peek in right off]

[It's a card and chocolates. The card has a picture he dug up of Haruhi not-so-artfully pasted in next to one of Mikuru back from when she was here.

'Look, I don't have Photoshop.'

Happy I'm-not-100%-sure-what-number-you'd-consider-this-th. Hope you have many more happy birthdays, wherever you'd feel best having them. I know we're going to change the world sooner or later. Until then, let's keep doing our best with everyone who's here.

As for Kyon himself, he simply stares at the fish for a while. Then at the painting.]

[When she opens it, she doesn't really take out the chocolates as much as just the card. And she looks at the cover and snorts before reading the message. And, honestly? She's appalled at how touched she is by a simple gesture. She must still be feeling vulnerable to be smiling because of this card.

It's only a quick read, and she closes it to look back at the cover of it, and the collage on the front.]

You had pictures of Mikuru?

Yeah, just from one of the Brigade meetings, I think.

['...Better than past photos from Brigade meetings. Ahh, I could get lost in a reverie about now... Double stimulus! After all, Haruhi's still cute when she smiles like that. Actually, probably cuter when she looks more mature like she does now. Like Asahina-san (big). And that Haruhi I saw on that college campus or whatever. That would be about the right age, anyway. It's her 21st birthday, but she looks 19, or something like that, right? That makes me 18, although my actual age might be a little higher, because I came here six months off of when I actually --

I didn't get to take a picture of Nagato when she was here, though.

I think I only have a few of either, really. [It's a hobby of her's to make sure she has at least one of every Brigader. But she didn't really plan ahead that much either]

If we're going for a community building, it has to be the #1 one. That one has an elevator, I've seen it.
