Appointments Post ( I )

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Haruhi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[Ordinarily, when Grune finds herself in the vicinity of the SOS Brigade HQ, she wanders her way inside to see if there's anyone to say hello to.

Today, however, she passes it by. Her walk is brisk and purposeful, and her expression is serious. A particularly close look would show that her aqua wings, often spread to catch the breeze, are now pure white and folded tightly against her back.

Investigate, Haruhi?]

[Definitely so. In fact, she doesn't even need to get up, instead-] Hey, Grune!

[Grune's reaction is to...look Haruhi's way and then greet her calmly.]

Good afternoon, Haruhi. Are you well?

[...Well, that's not unusual or anything.]

Uh... yeah. I guess so.

[Well, that was convincing, Haruhi. Grune gives her an evaluating look.]

Is there something the matter?

[You entire body language is wrong? But no, she doesn't say that, she just shakes her head]

Not really.

Are you certain?

[After a full week of people being awkward around her, Grune has her doubts.]

I said I was so I am, don't question me! [Hmph hmph]

[She lifts her eyebrows, but only says:] Very well.

Did you have some business with me?

...Do I need business? In case you forgot again, you're a member of my SOS-Brigade.

I remember. However, I will be unavailable for duties for approximately the next week.

[She needs to make use of every moment she can spare while she still has her memories. The Brigade will have to wait until they have been sealed once again.]

[Say- what? Not at all as expected]

Haaah?

There is much I need to learn about Luceti while I still retain my memories. I apologize if this causes you any difficulty, but my research takes precedence.

Research--- memories?!

Yes, that is correct. The Malnosso have removed the seal from my memories, presumably on a temporary basis. I intend to take full advantage of it.

Uh... huh. And what are you researching?

Currently the nature of Luceti and all that it encompasses. I find myself distinctly lacking in such knowledge.

[Having been previously content to simply exist within it unquestioningly.]

Uh...huh.

[...Well, if you want to go there, that's fine. Even if this is weird out of what she knows of Grune she won't fault the woman for it]

Do you believe you would have any information to contribute?

[If not, she should be on her way.]

Plenty. In case you forgot I've been here for three years. [With a huff] But what do you think you know?

[She quirks an eyebrow at that "think," but does not comment.]

Quite a bit of scattered information, currently. Many residents here were very helpful.

I find myself interested in the one known as "John." What do you know about him?

Reclusive scientist, designed the barrier we're in now... or at least the technology for it. He's modified it a few times too. Lives underground in this enclosure, which given what we know of the outside world I guess means he's either paranoid or likes us. Probably both.

I understand he is the one responsible for restoring what has been lost after death. Does he have any other contact with the residents of Luceti?

Naturally. He just usually has had intermediaries and it's become less frequent. He's basically a shut in.

Do you believe he would object if I were to go speak with him?
