8th: The Resolution of Haruhi Suzumiya

...Okay, Brigade, if you didn't get the memo yet we've lost a lot of members- including Naoki and Yoohoo, among others. [Her voice dips. But then there's a slapping sound and she presses on, her tone getting brighter] But that's beside the point! New feathers, there's a lot of you guys now, and old feathers too, some of you guys must want some excitement in your life, right?! Ever feel that budding sense of your existence here being meaningless?! Well, think no further, because for a short time only the SOS-Brigade is accepting applications for new members to our illustrious ranks!

But some of you might think "Wow I'm lame and have been living under a rock and/or haven't read the guide, what is this completely amazing sounding organization," right? Since you asked, I'll answer free of charge!

The Spreading Excitement All Over the World with Haruhi Suzumiya Brigade - SOS-Brigade for short - is the greatest organization ever invented. We're dedicated to finding and solving all the mysteries of this world, thus ensuring that everyone in it can lead a fun and worthwhile life! It's like a form of enlightenment! So basically, people who have experienced something mysterious in the past, have experienced something mysterious recently, or who plan on a mysterious experience in the near future should come to the SOS Brigade for them be solved.

But besides that, we have ensure that people have fun! We have big plans for the coming months! It's Spring, and while we obviously won't get Golden Week, there's always time and need for another Hanami or for contests, attractions, fireworks once we get summer, the beach, the lake, you name it, we're on it! You should fully expect your life to be influenced by our might in the near future! I hope your bodies are ready for it!

So there you have it! And, like I said, we're accepting applications! So hurry up and speak up so that I, Haruhi Suzumiya, can process you and determine if you have the right stuff!

[Buuut, once that announcement is made in ther break time for school at about 10:30 AM (and thus replies might be later in the day) Haruhi has places to be. She's being low-key about it, but it is White Day, after all. So, during her lunch break at school she sets off- she had her Winry Day yesterday, but she owes Winry something in return. Thus, with a bag over her shoulder around 12:30PM she's made her way to Winry's house to knock.

From there, back to school, finishing it up, the Brigade meeting... and then loitering around town is her MO for the afternoon. She got chocolate for all of the guys in the Brigade (plus Neku and maybe some others) after all, and even she's not voicing it she expects things back from there. ...And Minato. And Keiichi. But she's not going to press the issue there because even she's not sure she wants them. But if you see her lurking around the square in the afternoon that's why.]

["There is no where else I would rather be" is too hard to say so instead-] Shut up! I wanted to give your your gift sooner rather than later. If I though you'd be awake before school I would have come then.

Do I have to guess what's in it before I get it?

Oh-! Oh right, sorry. [She fumbles a moment, and then reaches into the bag. She was really unsure what to get/make for Winry - those strawberries were so nice! And after. Well, after all that stuff with the boys and her on Valentines something as simple of that didn't seem right to give her alone. So yes, the first thing she pulls out for Winry is indeed a small box of homemade chocolates, but there's a second box in here which she hesitates on gripping with her other hand even as she hands over the chocolates]

[... Her hands get a tighter grip on the second box. This one is more personal and more a shot in the dark. Possibly inappropriate too but after that bracelet (which is on the wrist hesitating in this bag) how could she... not want to do something more?]

[Now she's just stalling]

...So. I don't have a lot of useful skills in terms of making last gifts. I mean- I considered writing something like a story, but I couldn't come up with anything good, so mostly I just got to the shops. I mean - I could try metallurgy or something, but that would be a dead give away given where you work.

[...Okay sigh]

[...Okay. Okay. Now for her other gift. She hands the box over It is a much larger box, and probably stood out in the box. She's still not sure what to make of it, but. Well. There's actually three things in there. The first is one of the numerous photos of Winry in twin braids in her underwear Haruhi took. This is placed directly on top of a picture of Haruhi in about the same outfit. She has mounted a tripod in her room clearly, because it's on her bed and trying to match the same pose.

But those are secondary. Beneath both of those is the larger and much more obvious real gift. Haruhi hasn't lived with a seamstress for years now and picked nothing up - in there is a hand-made (or well, made using equipment in All Passions, but the point is she made it out of materials on hand) swimsuit for Winry. A two piece pink (as they discussed) bikini ~~which I am too lazy to link an image reference for~~. ...She knows this is probably not up to par, but she did at least include a little design motiff on it in the form of frilly things? She hangs her head a little, flustered, as she hands it over.

So awkward!]

It's fantastic.

[...! That blush is. Well not entirely unexpected but she starts out concerned but then Winry's face changes. And then she's hugged. OH GOD YES]
