[This post comes up about an hour after the draft announcement and her reaction to it. It's cool, simple, to the point. Whoever wants to run into her will run into her during the course of the next day or two (and feel free to action that!) when she goes about "business as usual." Fur now, she's been training in magic and hand to hand, but neither is going to be efficient here, so-]

...Actually, do me one better - design me that hard-suit. I can make a blueprint myself, of course, but I bet it would be easier to requisition if I had a detailed analysis of it.

I'll see what I can put together. [Ugh. Robotics. Again, he wishes Precis was around.] They won't be great, but I'll walk you through it as much as I can.

You don't even need to make the things, just make a design. You have fifty hours. In the meantime, I'll see if I can't think of a sentai costume.

[She just makes a noise of confirmation at that. She said all she needed to say before now]

[It's past noon when Leon gathers his finished materials together and makes the walk over to Haruhi's house. He's not even sure she'll be there at this hour, since she likely was crash-coursing through guns. But he doesn't trust the new "commandant" to not pull draftees a little early, so he has to be sure Haruhi gets this stuff.

He'll knock on the front door. If he doesn't get an answer, he'll sit in front of the house and try not to doze on his messenger bag.]

[She's not, really. But she'll be back there before one thirty because she needs to change clothes before the "meeting" she's forcing herself to have. And when she shows up- oh. Leon She blinks and then gets closer]

[Leon fell asleep while he was waiting. But in typical cat fashion, his ears twitch as he reacts to new, nearby sounds.]

[...She sighs, smiling in spite of herself, and then tugs lightly on one of his ears when she gets on the porch proper]

[His eyelids twitch right along with his ears, and he opens his eyes in startled surprise. ...He fell asleep. He fell asleep. How long--?]

--Hey. Sorry, I knocked, and... [He lamely waves at the door, as if that was some sort of explanation.]

[...Pfft. She shakes her head, smiling in spite of herself. She waves a hand dismissively before clarifying:]

I just got back.

...Oh. [He blinks a few times, relaxing minutely as that sinks in. He opens his mouth to ask how she's doing, if everything was okay, but remembering the urgency he'd felt last night. So he just cuts to the chase.]

I'm finished. I wanted to get everything to you as soon as possible.

...Seriously?

[She leans in then, expectant and a little surprised, actually. He has something functional for her?]

It's-- I worked with my strengths. My friend's strengths. Robotics aren't one of them, but... [He trails off, sitting up and dragging his bag to open side so he can properly open it. Out of the bag come five identical dolls, brown and plain and blank.]

These. These are for you and the others.

[He can barely hold all five of them in his hands, so he at least offers one to Haruhi.]

[...dolls? She takes one of them, leaving him to hold the rest, and begins to examine it]

What do they do?

It's called a Reverse Doll. Keep it near you, on your person at all times when you're out there. [He grimaces, not liking to have to explain what they are.] If something dangerous happens... If something meant to kill you attempts to hit you, it will take the damage for you. Just one blow. ...But sometimes that's all you need.

So it's a reverse voodoo doll... [She mutters that to herself, and then nods. Okay, that's good. That's really good. It's not a hardsuit, but it's still something quite nice. She nods, smiling in spite of herself.]

...Amazing.

[He sighs in relief at Haruhi's reaction, nodding.] Yeah, that's right. Hopefully you won't need to use them.

Yeah, yeah.. hopefully, that'll be the case.

[She sets that doll down on the bench next to her and nods for him to do the same. She'll get her own bag for them in a bit]
