[This post comes up about an hour after the draft announcement and her reaction to it. It's cool, simple, to the point. Whoever wants to run into her will run into her during the course of the next day or two (and feel free to action that!) when she goes about "business as usual." Fur now, she's been training in magic and hand to hand, but neither is going to be efficient here, so-]

[And who knows, maybe people will reply to her about unrelated garbage too. She's still trembling, sitting on the roof of her house tonight

I think the nine sounds more legitimate, but that's just me.

...Yeah? [She doesn't. She was missing for two months, it barely felt like she was dating until she broke up after she got back... really. They haven't "dated" very long. She's loved Winry a long time now. Over a year. But "dated"]

It's weird, I know, but...you care about her a lot more than somebody who's just bee dating for only five months. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

There's a quota on feelings?

[She says this quietly to herself, brushing a bit of wet hair out of her eyes. Maybe there is. She's not used to this world yet.]

...I wouldn't call it a quota, but there's definitely a difference. Why?

...Whatever. I can feel myself loosing brain cells from this conversation. [And at this, she stands, gets out of the tub, and then heads for a towel]

Doesn't that happen with most of our conversations lately? [She's going to stay in that bath then.]

[As she gets with drying her hair]

[A shrug.] Sometimes, but they still manage to make sense somehow. I don't get it either. [She leans back, sulking a bit.] But whatever. Going to go find Winry?

[godbent]

No, I'll be seeing her tomorrow.

[She says this lightly, like it's not any big deal]

...just checking. Never mind.

[godbent]

[Siiiigh] She needs a night with her boys, I'm letting her have it. I should have a night with you and Neku, I'm having it.

[so_shik]

...you mean that? Just the three of us?

[godbent]

Why wouldn't I?

[Okay, toweled off. Now to lead the bathroom to go get clothes]

I don't know. [And she's suddenly realizing Haruhi's leaving so she's scrambling to get out of the bath and drain it, grabbing a towel.]

I don't know. I guess it just sounds strange hearing we're actually planning a night together. You know, since we live together.

[godbent]

And I'm going to be gone in a day or two. All the reason to have a night together.

[Lala, to her room to get dressed]

What do you want to do then? Anything specific? [Following, following, and just hanging out in the hallway to talk while Haruhi gets dressed.]

Well... I guess I should make dinner for the time being.

[As she's getting dressed, that is]

Want some help? Do you have any idea what we should make?

Maybe? What do you even want?

[Because clearly let's go with what Shiki wants. And lalaa finishing getting dressed]

Probably something that's going to last us a few days. I've gotten better at cooking but definitely not as well as you can.

[godbent]

In that case... I feel like making gumbo, so let's make it a hug pot you can eat over and over with some reheating.

[She taps her chin as she says this. Yes, gumbo...]

Good enough for me. Think we should ask Neku for help?

[godbent]

Yeah... if he's out he can bring back the okra. I'm not sure we have any. If he's not we can just send him out for that.

[She should check the freezer - they probably have shrimp and sausage... mussels. Wait, do they have crayfish? Maybe she can substitute]

I can call him and have him get some anyway. Anything else you think we need?
