[This post comes up about an hour after the draft announcement and her reaction to it. It's cool, simple, to the point. Whoever wants to run into her will run into her during the course of the next day or two (and feel free to action that!) when she goes about "business as usual." Fur now, she's been training in magic and hand to hand, but neither is going to be efficient here, so-]

[Neku was in his room getting something when he hears Haruhi on the roof. He'd already saw the draft list, and saw that both Haruhi and Winry were on there, so he debates if he should go check on her.

...ah, screw it. She can tell him to go away if she doesn't want to be bothered or something. And so Neku carefully climbs up to the roof from his window, walking over to her once he spots her sitting there.]

Haruhi?

[She doesn't turn. In fact, she's mildly surprised that it's Neku who comes first, not Shiki. She almost would laugh but... nothing's funny here]

[He never knows what to say in these situations, which is why it usually is Shiki who comes to her first. Oh well, want some company at least? He's coming over and sitting a foot or so away from her.]

[She still doesn't look at him. She just... glares off at nothing in particular. She can't even sigh. She's trembling a bit. But. Damn.]

[There's a long stretch of silence before Neku speaks up.]

Do you remember when you dragged me out of bed and brought me up here that one time?

[Not... distinctly but then it feels like she jerked Neku around a lot in the past]

Yeah I guess that was a really long time ago. You dragged me out clothes shopping one time too. ...I think that was around the same time you agreed to be my partner to get Shiki back when Minamimoto kidnapped her.

[He's... not really sure where he's going with this. He's just mostly trying to give her a distraction.]

...Yeah, that makes sense. [She nods here. But then idly thinks about how Neku would have been having those moments with Haruki, not her. It's a thought she doesn't have as much these days as she had even two months ago, but]
