[This post comes up about an hour after the draft announcement and her reaction to it. It's cool, simple, to the point. Anyone ever tell you that you're a scary old guy?

With remarkable frequency, actually. Can't think why. Faith used to tell me what felt like every other day, and she was once in jail for multiple murders.

[Much less lethality involved.] Requires you be closer to your target than a pistol, but I'm not sure how much difference that would make in a rain forest. Same for any mechanical difficulties.

I actually meant those tazer-guns. Whatever they're called - the ones with the eletric wire things.

A more scientific version of a force field, obviously! Think about it! Something which can stop kinetic energy and render things hitting it inert.

I didn't think that was implied from the name, actually.
