[There's nothing to thank him for. He has messed up and failed on distracting her, he probably will fail tomorrow too. Others can do it for him but he can't do it when he wants, it's awesome how useless he is at those things. Either way the conversation is done and he closes the book, he will see her tomorrow and bring her a huge green tea ice-cream.]
