18th: The Canvas of Haruhi Suzumiya

[This pot takes place mostly in (the lobby, lounge room, pub maybe) or around the LucetiLand hotel.

So... the draft began on the 25th. It's been nerve wrecking for all parties, Haruhi included, so she opted to commit to an agreement her and Winry made before the summer and she was recently reminded of - body painting her girlfriend. She was also allowed to put her on display. She's been working on that for some time now, the better part of this week in particular to re-practice.

And today is the day she showcases! But in a smaller area. Not the town proper, not the park probably, just inside and just outside the hotel. Haruhi's smartly dressed and smiling broadly, Winry has on her own pants and such, but in place of a shirt is something you might imagine to be a little like this (slightly nsfw?), albeit with a shirt Winry would actually wear. More obvious close up, not that obvious from a distance. (also in Winry's case there's a little something covering her nipples to stop them from protruding or anything as part of Haruhi's vaunted sense of "decency").

They'll be around here most of the afternoon - talking to people who walk up, maybe playing a simple game (Haruhi brought cards to play with Winry what she did at the casino) maybe chatting up people if there's no bites. Later in the day - more like the evening - once all washed off you might also find them in the indoor pool or spa.

[She shouldn't have come. She was fine in the apartment, waiting for Adell to return from that horrible draft. Not that she has gone far, she wandered around the park a bit before ending at the lobby, sitting and clinging to Whiskers, the kitten plush that Adell had given her, thinking about going back to the village and to the apartment. It seemed big and empty and she was dead worried and scared, but that was the normal state of things in Luceti, wasn't it?

Luka will be sitting there, eying the pair with a mix of curiosity and shyness. She recognizes Haruhi but she won't be saying a thing for now. She's just looking at how they chat and have fun and completely missing the shirt stuff.]

[From where she's at Winry notices Luka staring. Is that girl... some how familiar? Winry waves a little to her.]

[Haruhi has not noticed her at all. She's actually flipping through her deck of cards right now, trying to see if this deck is indeed missing the 8 of clubs. She would have had a straight flush last hand if she drew it and the fact she didn't is just wrong]

[Luka jumps when Winry waves a little in her direction and looks around to see if anyone is answering or anything. But there's no one,unless they left already, but from what it seems the wave is directed at her...

She waves back timidly, and apparently ready to hide behind her plush if Winry gives her a weird look.]

[Winry simply stares for a moment before giving Luka a small smile. She didn't mean to surprise you!]

[She's not noticing this at all. Still looking for the (lack of) that damn eight. It better not be in here :|]

[Luka blinks and blushes a bit before smiling back to Winry, nodding a bit and moving her hands as if apologetically. She's sorry for staring!]

[She waves for Luka to come over. Why not have a chat?]

[WHAT

She throws the rest of the deck on the ground. The Eight is in here]

[Luka seems unsure about the signal, she understands it all right but... She doesn't mean to intrude or anything, really she should just go back home, well her home here at least? When Haruhi throws the deck on the ground though, Luka seems to slide backwards even further and shyly waves at Haruhi to indicate that she doesn't want to interrupt, or bother...]

[The deck slamming catches Winry's attention, and she scolds Haruhi for her outburst. There are other people in this lobby, you know!]

S-shut up! The deck cheated me!

[She yelled after the scolding, loud enough for anyone ever to hear]

[Just... Staring at the scene. How can a deck cheat her? Most probably the deck was rigged or something. An inanimate object can't cheat someone, that's obvious.]

No, you were just unlucky! Now pick up the cards you threw!

It's a cheat!

Jeez!

[Oh fine, she'll go to pick it up]

[Luka keeps staring, well... As illogic as this is those two are entertaining to look at. She's still sitting there, hugging her plus, don't mind her.]

[Winry looks back over at Luka, and then to Haruhi again. So embarrassed by her girlfriend's behavior. Sigh.]

[Stupid cards. At least they're done up now :| ]

[Luka smiles a bit when Winry looks back at her. The scene was entertaining and funny, no reason to be embarrassed for.]

[Winry hangs her head and shakes it.]

[Now with the cards collected, she huffs and sits back down. Pouting]

[Well, she can see how it can be embarrassing, personally she would die due it if it happened to her... But that's a normal reaction in her. And Luceti has its own set of rules and everything... And she knows that Haruhi is a bit special already, one just has to look at the club she owns.]

[Winry turns to Haruhi.] You just had an outburst right in front of that poor girl over there.

Who-? [...Turn and- who is that? She only talked with Luka, so it's not ringing a bell. Hmm :|a]

[Luka just looks back and sinks a bit in her seat, as if wanting to hide behind Whiskers. She wavers a bit though when Haruhi turns, it's only polite.]
