18th: The Canvas of Haruhi Suzumiya

[This pot takes place mostly in (the lobby, lounge room, pub maybe) or around the LucetiLand hotel.

So... the draft began on the 25th. It's been nerve wrecking for all parties, Haruhi included, so she opted to commit to an agreement her and Winry made before the summer and she was recently reminded of - body painting her girlfriend. She was also allowed to put her on display. She's been working on that for some time now, the better part of this week in particular to re-practice.

And today is the day she showcases! But in a smaller area. Not the town proper, not the park probably, just inside and just outside the hotel. Haruhi's smartly dressed and smiling broadly, Winry has on her own pants and such, but in place of a shirt is something you might imagine to be a little like this (slightly nsfw?), albeit with a shirt Winry would actually wear. More obvious close up, not that obvious from a distance. (also in Winry's case there's a little something covering her nipples to stop them from protruding or anything as part of Haruhi's vaunted sense of "decency").

They'll be around here most of the afternoon - talking to people who walk up, maybe playing a simple game (Haruhi brought cards to play with Winry what she did at the casino) maybe chatting up people if there's no bites. Later in the day - more like the evening - once all washed off you might also find them in the indoor pool or spa.

Obviously, this is a joint post between Haruhi and crytearsofjoy, and excuse us if we're a little slow]

[Later in the afternoon, Don and Robert come strolling up the path towards the hotel. From a distance, and not being an expert either on clothes or on the female body, Don doesn't notice that Winry is wearing nothing but paint. He raises a hand in casual greeting.]

Hey, Winry. Have you been here this whole time?

[Referring of course to their conversation over the journals the other day, though the context may not be obvious to anyone but himself.]

[Oh, look, people he barely knows, one of which he got upset at him before. Robert instinctively shrinks back a bit against Don, though not as much as he would've previously - social things are getting easier.]

A-Ah... Salutations.

[If he notices the fact Winry's painted on, he gives absolutely no indication of this.]

[-Oh god, people. Boys. Let's hope Haruhi's painted on tank top is incredibly believable, and just act cool. It's all about confidence, right?]

Oh Don, and uh Robert. Hey. I've - no, I just got here yesterday.

[Sitting on a bench in the plaza (or rather crouched on the back of one), Kurt is just idly watching the two go by. Or rather, he's trying to figure out what Winry's wearing without giving up that he's trying to figure it out. So it's a lot of staring as he starts to suspect she's topless.]

[Go by? Well they're mostly just sort of hanging out near the hotel. She's actually laughing with Winry about something by now. namely, recounting her tale of Shiki and her's passing the Sokka's head stone a while ago]

And she stopped and told me I was right. Stopped to say it and everything!

[Winry is all kinds of oblivious too. She's not really on the look out for any hiding voyeurs. Anyway, Winry giggles.]

Well of course! It's not like anyone could deny the resemblance.

[Ayumu looks believably like a zombie this 1:30 in the afternoon as he wanders down the hotel stairs. Without school or other people to keep him on a daytime schedule he's been waking up later and later. It's still too early on the day to really go out and enjoy the park safely, but he's hungry, and is now in search of food that doesn't require leaving the building.

As the lobby comes into view, so do the two girls standing inside talking. His first instinct once his attention focuses enough is to flee back upstairs. He hasn't exactly been attending Brigade functions recently, and who knows what Haruhi has in store. And that girl beside her...

...you know, had her boobs been that big the last time he'd run into her?

In a moment that may have decided his fate, Ayumu freezes on the steps, eyes locked on Winry.]

[Keiichi is just passing by towards his room in the afternoon when he spots the duo... Honestly he has been kind of avoiding both girls, of course a total avoidance was impossible and not something he wanted, but he had done his best to keep distance. He still wants to, but with Minato having already been cornering him about it... Maybe he shouldn't avoid it this time.

Just a casual and brief talk and let them have their fun, probably they don't want to deal with him during their time together, but he would save face. And thus Keiichi approaches and waves with a smile at the girls.]

[Keiichi... Admittedly Winry had been keeping her distance from him as well. She's not really sure how to feel about him in general, but she decides to be polite.]

Yeah, just a bit. We're not going on any of the rides today.

[Haruhi misses all the awkward. Mostly because she braved through it months ago and right now unless something specific comes up she's past it. So it's with a grin she turns for Keiichi]

[The paint is definitely dry, and when he throws himself at her she stumbles back a bit.] G-Goku?!

[MACE IS READY. She's actually got it halfway out by the time Winy makes it clear she knows this guy :|a]

[Ikki's hanging around the lounge room, minding his own business, mostly. Until he spots those two and the tight shirt the blonde is wearing... Well, he has seen worse after an intense stare he will go back to mind his own business. Suzumiya's work isn't impressing this flamethrower.]

[...You know being hyperaware right now she does notice Ikki's look and the fact he doesn't stare longer sort of pisses her off. She grumbles a bit, throwing a glance over at him but trying not to seem desperate]

[Bulma has been eying the pair for a while. That shirt is quite tight but that's not what calls her attention, it's how the lighting doesn't seem to match at times or the wrinkles don't match the movements of the body. From afar it's not obvious, but the more one looks, the more it's noticeable but one can't be sure until they see it up close.

Eventually, she approaches the pair from behind, all casual and natural.]

Your shirt is ripped on the back, or you missed a spot of skin.

[Haruhi turns quickly, glances at Winry's back- nope, she didn't miss a thing! No way she would. She then glances back at ... wait who even is this woman? With a pout and look of incredulity.

[She shouldn't have come. She was fine in the apartment, waiting for Adell to return from that horrible draft. Not that she has gone far, she wandered around the park a bit before ending at the lobby, sitting and clinging to Whiskers, the kitten plush that Adell had given her, thinking about going back to the village and to the apartment. It seemed big and empty and she was dead worried and scared, but that was the normal state of things in Luceti, wasn't it?

Luka will be sitting there, eying the pair with a mix of curiosity and shyness. She recognizes Haruhi but she won't be saying a thing for now. She's just looking at how they chat and have fun and completely missing the shirt stuff.]

[From where she's at Winry notices Luka staring. Is that girl... some how familiar? Winry waves a little to her.]

[After the day is done and the paint is washed off, Winry and Haruhi head back to their room. All in all? It wasn't so bad. Maybe even a little fun? But Winry won't admit that. Instead she feigns exhaustion and flops on her bed in the pajamas she's switched into now that she's paintless.]

[Oh I see how it is. Being topless most of the day and going to a spa and swim after was too much for you :| But Haruhi grins despite that, sitting next to her girl on the bed]
