[This post comes up about an hour after the draft announcement and her reaction to it. It's cool, simple, to the point. Whoever wants to run into her will run into her during the course of the next day or two (and feel free to action that!) when she goes about "business as usual." Fur now, she's been training in magic and hand to hand, but neither is going to be efficient here, so-]

Neku was one of the first people to really like me for who I was, not for who I was as Eri. We've been through a lot together, and sometimes our relationship hits snags, but we manage to always work it out. He's thoughtful, and he's affectionate when he feels like it. And he's really creative. Is that better?

...It's sappy and generic too. [She says flatly]

[She shrugs dramatically here, and then lounges in the water. She stretches out her legs too]

...so...like...that wasn't the first time you'd gotten to second with her, right? Because if it was then I'm really going to feel bad.

Huuu- what- no! No, of course we've gone there before!

Just making sure! ...and further than that, I hope.

...well I mean come on. Even Neku and I are further than second.

Well yeah just a little!

...wait how long have you been going out with her again?

Since March. [...] Well, since we broke up in February. Before then, I confessed one the first of September, and we dated since the Sunday after that. [It might have felt like longer though: she (and therefore Hruki) has been in love wit her months before then and Winry Days had started long before then too. Of course that ignores that she went home in Novemeber and came back in December...

Totaling it up, that's September, October, January, part of February, part of March, April, and May. Five months in all.]

[She thought it was longer than that, too, and it probably shows on her face.] Why does it seem like that's almost too short?

It's your relationship. Shouldn't you know?

Well I know it's been five months, total. Discounting off-times, more like nine.

I think the nine sounds more legitimate, but that's just me.

...Yeah? [She doesn't. She was missing for two months, it barely felt like she was dating until she broke up after she got back... really. They haven't "dated" very long. She's loved Winry a long time now. Over a year. But "dated"]

It's weird, I know, but...you care about her a lot more than somebody who's just bee dating for only five months. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

There's a quota on feelings?

[She says this quietly to herself, brushing a bit of wet hair out of her eyes. Maybe there is. She's not used to this world yet.]

...I wouldn't call it a quota, but there's definitely a difference. Why?
