Summer's drawing to a close already... we're already half-way through August, pretty much. There's really a lot of things left to do now, even if I wasn't really planning a lot... [A hum] I guess being made super old wasn't in my plans. [Old...] I'm actually twenty years old now, how weird is that? [Physically now, even, because of what happened on her birthday. Not that is will necessarily stand out to people] But anyway, seriously? There's submarining, bug catching, exploring some ancient ruins, spelunking, maybe going out on a date or something... Actually I'd like to spelunk! SOS-Brigade, assuming that we don't get a working submarine in two weeks, let's go explore some caverns!

-Right, that reminds me. I haven't been around for it, but this is Luceti so I'm sure bad things have happened. There's actually several cave systems int he mountains - some of them are shallow, but some of them go way deep. I've not seen but a glimpse myself, but there's an underground lake down there, I'm sure of it!

[ Yuri thinks for a few moments. She normally wouldn't do this, but spelunking is kind of a dangerous thing because where there are caves, there are cave-ins. ]

That's alright - you're outsourced help anyway, so I'm in no position to make demands. That said, I know we haven't done a ton of lessons, but I've been learning more from that spellbook!

Yeah of course it would! Naturally, I'd think of a nice idea like that to close out the summer. Ideally, it would be an ocean floor exploration, but we'll see how that goes.

Exploring the bottom of the ocean here. I've yet to find someone coming forward with a magic alternative to dealing with the pressure, even if I got a few for breathing underwater, so I've got a guy called Howard Stark on it already and I'm amassing a team to work with him.

Well, there's always waterbending. [But he's not sure Katara has ever taken them THAT deep. And that was an emergency situation...] But do you think there's anything worth seeing? I mean, it was a pretty unimpressive desert before. Even the ruins were kind of uninteresting, just sitting out there.

What kind of qualifications do you guys have for dealing with psychological issues?

I've only got the credentials of being in Luceti for over three years now, and then some of my underlings have their own incidental ones. We're a support group, willing to listen and work with people to work out their problems, but if we come across something we can't handle - PTSD, stuff like that - then we'd ideally refer you to a proper shrink. Sadly, the one we used to work with isn't here, but I'm sure my Brigade could work something out.

Good day to you. I was thinking of contacting you tomorrow, but today is just as good.

I've drafted up a series of blueprints for different versions of a submarine that can go into deep waters - a little tasking considering I haven't found any record of how deep the ocean is. But I made up five designs for you to pick from, depending on how many people you want inside to man the submarine.

I'm not sure anyone has accurate measurements... but I do know of at least two mermaids, we could get them to bring a big tape measure down there.

[Since this is a topic they've touched on before...] The same offer stands -- I can get it to withstand the deep water pressure and keep a supply of oxygen going, but I can't set up or build the actual sub.

So it really depends on if you get anyone who can feasibly build a secure sub.
