Wow, whoever this is has really nice handwriting. [Okay... reading-] Sakura... Oogami. Okay, Sakura Oogami, you get first pick! All three of you should head to the SOS-Brigade's HQ to tell me which prize you're claiming! In order, Sakura gets first pick, then Oswald, then Fenimore! [Okay and then she sits. There's a short pause before-] Furthermore, anyone who was in the last draft- I heard it was in a different Enclosure. Summer's drawing to a close already... we're already half-way through August, pretty much. There's really a lot of things left to do now, even if I wasn't really planning a lot... [A hum] I guess being made super old wasn't in my plans. [Old...] I'm actually twenty years old now, how weird is that? [Physically now, even, because of what happened on her birthday. Not that is will necessarily stand out to people] But anyway, seriously? There's submarining, bug catching, exploring some ancient ruins, spelunking, maybe going out on a date or something... Actually I'd like to spelunk! SOS-Brigade, assuming that we don't get a working submarine in two weeks, let's go explore some caverns!

-Right, that reminds me. I haven't been around for it, but this is Luceti so I'm sure bad things have happened. If any of you guys are suffering from issues - emotional psychological, interpersonal, maybe economic, the SOS-Brigade can assist you. Bonus points if it's interesting, but our doors are open! Jeez, everyone. I know I'm due to hit forty soon enough, but as pranks go, making everyone half my age is pretty excessive. [It's in a semi-serious tone, but she's actually being sarcastic here] This is going to make the birthday party I hope some of you are planning pretty awkward, isn't it?

[Short laugh. It's funny, okay]

I'll be heading by the Brigade HQ for anyone who's around. The village is smaller too, gosh. See you there!

[So Haruhi Suzumiya is significantly older now! She's in her later 30s and as noted here will remain as such until her birthday on the 31st. You're free to answer the voice today or you can run into her in Action in any of the following situations (or anything else you come up with) on any day between now and the 30th!:

A) Shopping for clothes and accessories. Sure she's probably the result of some Shift, but she's going to be comfortable for this time, okay. Gosh.
B) Hanging out in and around House 10 or the HQ. She'll be with Sekai, and very enamored to see the rooster once more. ♥ She also might be witnessed meditating in these places, cooking meals at home, or otherwise doing her best to enjoy herself
C) At Good Spirits or Cloud Nine. She'll be at different ones on different nights for different reasons. Either way, some light drinking, darts, watching people perform, all that good stuff.
D) Swimming or tanning on the beach. Sure she's older, but she might as well distract/enjoy herself during this time, right. You also might see her performing some higher end spell work like putting an air bubble around her head to dive under the water here.
E) Going to the Hot Springs to have a nice dip. Hot Springs are things people always ought to enjoy. :|
F) People watching around town. This might be done in the form walking around, jogging around, or just sitting on a bench or something. But she'll be around trying to get a feel for who's around and chatting up familiar people.
G) Practicing her magic. A lot of it is filial, but some of it is also garner from other worlds. She's mostly comparing what she "knows" she should be able to do, versus what she can actually do if she's some temporary person here. This will mostly be out at the forest's edge, but also in the barracks, up at the mountains, on the beach...

No matter when you see her if you ask about the future she's from she'll probably tell you tall tales about the future. If you have anything you'd specifically want or not want your character to hear, ring me for permissions here. Let's have fun with this, folks. Replies will be from cougarmom]

[In which Haruki is throwing out his sheets/comforter and needs to go get new ones. Pity the bed's still too small for him, or nearly, but he doesn't want to change all that up.]


[Action: Day 4, 5]
[Jogging, lots of jogging. All around the village and the forest's edge. Sure it's cloudy on Day 4, but all that means is that it's less hot so it's not sweltering. As such, he is jogging shirtless on both days and generally enjoying this somewhat cooler and breezy later spring/early summer. And you should too.]

[Voice: Day 6]
[On and off storming all day, Haruki has decided to stay in. In the course of staying in, he's decided to start making more complete notes on how he wants to run that pageant idea. And in the course of doing that, he flips on the voice to ask something of the village-]

Oi, so who here would like to see some of their friends participate in a pageant? I know some of you do already and some of you did last time, but let's hear it.

[Sort of expecting to be replaced by Haruhi today because these days make a week of weird effects. In spite of himself it makes him pensive, and as such he hangs out mostly around Ammy's Tree Hill today, looking at the tail end of the blooms there. He'll also be around the village later, of course.]

[Aaaand then he wasn't replaced, which was perplexing. However, by this point he has seen and done a lot of weird things, so he's just trying to go about a normal day of hanging at the HQ, fully expecting something weird to bust into his life anyway. Might as well hang out and see what's what, so when he isn't in the HQ he's wandering around, maybe looking for something or someone interesting]

[Daisy announced they were back a few days ago... no reason to dwell on that given it was so long ago. She could say something else about the mission but... no, off journals entirely she thinks would be best. So, in the end... she lets her mind wander just long enough to let out this beauty:]

You know, a play's been done, maybe this time I should set up another pageant? [Those old enough to remember Haruki's pageant might know what this means she dissolves into humming, and there's the sound of a pen working all through this public part. She's making the filter for the next part]

In this Holiday Season we're coming into now, no doubt there'll be even more parties and such than what has already happened and no doubt the Organization will throw something at us too. However, I want you all to bear in mind that there is an outlet for whatever complications you run into as a result of all this: the legendary SOS-Brigade. Okay! Everyone in Luceti more or less stable from that last experiment? Good! Maybe you're not, but we're done with all the apologies and public fallout right, right? And most of the new feathers are in by now.

Well, I'm here today to inform you about the details of a group you guys might not be super familiar with if you're new and might have some misconceptions about if you're not. That's right, I'm here to talk to you about the one and only SOS-Brigade, and what our new and revised Brigade system will be bringing to you guys. Naturally, prep work on the project takes priority. We're been making some headway already, but I'll be expecting your best work in the coming week and I assume we'll be done by Friday of next week at very latest with getting the walls down and making things fit together right! So everyone, Valentines is supposed to be about love and stuff, right? But have you ever thought what's up with that Saint Valentine guy who originated the holiday?! Given that it's still popular today, is he just some famous dead guy, or is he now a ghost, trying to appeal to everyone's mind and manipulate them?! Wouldn't that explain how it's popular in both Japan and the West?

Bearing that in mind, even if this holiday is kinda stupid, it's still important to adhere to certain traditions in hopes of seeing any possible Valentines spirits. Because of that, I've gotten chocolate for some of you.

[...Namely all of the guys in the Brigade and grudgingly Minato. She considered some others, like Neku or Sokka, but decided against it. She also considered Winry but she's not sure if that's too weird or not. That said, delivering them? No, she's carrying them around in her bag in case she runs into people for other reasons and failing that going to put what's left in a basket at the HQ after she's done.]

More importantly-! A bunch of you have heard about the beach, right?! And you're all psyched to go there this summer?! Well, brought to you by our SOS-Brigade's genius scientist, Leon [this next part is muttered quickly and might not be heard:] andsomehelpfromSokka we're bringing you the all-new Beach Teleportation System! You know how the ones for the Hot Springs work, right?! Same thing here! The village-end for the teleporter is located in the barracks, and the other end is way off, so we can have easy access once it warms up!

Oh and for the record she currently has waxy green skin, red eyes, long brown hair, but otherwise looks relatively normal. She was somewhat offput she couldn't bend spoons. But either way, she now sets off her dictation with]

Hey! Some of you heard the slander of those impostor mes earlier, right?! Those two were my insubordinate idiot minions, none of them actions or words should be considered a representation of the SOS-Brigade in the least, got it? [She makes a sage nod here, folding her arms, before spreading them wide and shrugging]

With that in mind though... The SOS-Brigade is now open and willing to accept new members! Right now we're quite strong, sporting my vice chief Rena, my Deputy, Taichi [And now she starts to list on her fingers, counting them off] Minako, Mikage, Kurt, Naoki, Yoohoo, Uriko, Leon, Keiichi, Hanyuu, and of course the one and only Anne of Green Gables! Our illustrious order is the most impressive organization within this barrier, bar none, so if you want to do something worthwhile and fun with your life here, then please step forward! I'm feeling generous, so we'll accept all applications right now for consideration in the final stage!

[From a hiding place (a not particularly good one per say, but a hiding place of the spare room on the second floor of her her house) she begins what she knows will be hard for her to say. She sounds in no way comfortable as she starts with-]

Hey, Luce- [no that's stupid-] everyone I know. Or... yeah, everyone I know, or other people, I don't care! [That got harsh. She's awkward here] Look-! ...Look. Anyone that knew that guy, Haruki Suzumiya that wasn- ... The was... [UGH. The letter in her hand crumples a bit as she pushes it together, awkward] ...Whatever, forget it! Jeez, damn Malnosso. It's not important!

[ ... ... A minute later]

...No. It is important, after all. Look- that guy, I have his- no, I have my own memories, which are basically his except I'm in them and none of you remember it like that. [Dammit dammit she sounds like she's repeating a point. Things she's already said. Dammit. There's a growl of frustration before she slips up out of her chair to pace, leaving the journal on the table but still talking loud enough to be recorded] I have memories, alright?! So I know some of you- a lot of you, I guess. But- [...] But I guess, you guys don't know me. You-

[ARGH. she looks again at the letter and then crumbles it into a ball. She throws it at the floor and then presses on, stopping in place and yelling now]

I'm not that guy- it's been two weeks since I showed too, so unless he Malnosso are bigger assholes than anyone thought I'm not going to be that guy either. [But if she is, if she 'reverts back' next week or tomorrow, this post is meaningless. ...Maybe it still is. But it feels like her heart is breaking and she needs to do something. Even as she stays all this, she feels no catharsis though, only her hollow dread turning into a real fear - a fear, what? Rejection? Probably, but fear of something tangible is better than something she doesn't even know the face]

So- ... So fine, that's that! We're different, alright?! And I was expecting you to forget but- fine! Don't forget him, it doesn't matter! [...UGH. Dammit, she's losing the point again. She crouches, picking up the crumbled ball of the letter]

...I know things can't be the same as I remember them, but I guess things also won't be the same as you remember. [So Haruhi... arrived this morning. Or well, last night? Somewhere in there, and she learned the truth the hard way. She's yet to test it, but she's got no reason to think Mikage was lying unless it was an elaborate troll, in which case she'll beat him into the ground.

Thus, once it's a more sensible hour of the day, she clears her throat after waking up - and skimming the journals, getting a brief feel for how things are right now, but afraid to look back and see Haruki so not that far - in the Brigade room (if for whatever reason you character would be there in the morning, feel free to run into her then btw):]

Hey, Luceti, listen up!

I, Haruhi Suzumiya, have returned as what is probably one of the first new feathers of this cycle!

SOS-Brigade, that means that naturally you're required to show up for future meetings, starting tomorrow. If you fail to attend even one of the ones this week I'll penalize you so much that you won't get to see the sun for weeks, got it?! Luceti's going to get much more exciting from here, so look forward to it, everyone!

She's got two locations in mind. In order, she's heading to Winry's house (House 23) to knock on it and look for her, and then once she deduces Winry is missing (and in a much more foul mood) she's matching to claim back House 10. Naturally, your character is free to run into her on the way to or at either of these locations as well
