I don't know how many of you have heard, but these are the members of my SOS-Brigade, and our new purpose right now is to help out those of you who need help, answering your "SOS." Your lives must have problems, right, particularly after the sort of things we have to go through. Just come to the Brigade HQ and see how we can solve your things. Bonus points if it's something interesting too.

[In light of everything, Haruhi has been feeling more than a little nostalgic. Back at North high, during the start of the year and the cultural festival in November she dressed up in a certain outfit in order to attract attention. It's sort of too cold to wear it for advertisement like she used to, but it doesn't breathe at all so if she's inside and has a coat handy she ought to be okay...

Thus, in Seventh Heaven today Haruhi is here to have lunch and tea dressed like this. Yes, it's outlandish, but deal with it. (sorry no guitar though) Her journal is next to her. Feel free to notice or talk with her]

Okay! Everyone in Luceti more or less stable from that last experiment? Good! Maybe you're not, but we're done with all the apologies and public fallout right, right? And most of the new feathers are in by now.

Well, I'm here today to inform you about the details of a group you guys might not be super familiar with if you're new and might have some misconceptions about if you're not. That's right, I'm here to talk to you about the one and only SOS-Brigade, and what our new and revised Brigade system will be bringing to you guys. That's right, revel in our generosity, because starting now the SOS-Brigade is pooling its talent to more than every be the leg Luceti stands on!

So you hear that Luceti, stop by! ..Also, because of these changes, we're also recruiting! Any potential applicants or people who need a life coach or something, speak up and we'll consider you for being welcomed into the fold.

[Okay so the last week (or well, more like the last weekend) had been a buzzkill even by the standards of this whole body switching thing. And given how foul he mood's been, well... it's basically confirmed something else for her. Something she'll address later, because right now she really need to have some sort of pick-me-up
So as "Sokka" she decides to try asking something she's sort of wondered about for a while]

Heeeey. So Brave Vesperia's accomplished some cool stuff by now, right? And the Welcome Center's still doing parties, and Buffy - awesome woman, really - has the fighting training and Suki - even more awesome - has the Kyoshi warriors to get people up and ready for drafts and then there's that SOS-Brigade doing... whatever and the Blue Rogues protecting everyone. Plus the school and people running shops. There's a whole lot of groups these days aren't there...

[Yes. Okay, that sort of getting lost in thought is totally Sokka, right? ...She just needs to make a pun now, Except she can't think of a pun. Shit. how does Sokka pull off terrible humor like that all the time?]

Ever think Luceti needs anything else? Any other sort of thing we'd benefit from? [...!] And I mean useful things, not salons or more party things.

[...Oh she's fumbling. She just. Stops. No wait. Katara- she can loop this around. Would Sokka know about therapy? WAIT NO. Old guys. That's it. Old guys come to mind for some reason.]

Like people who dish out sagely advice? [... No that's stupid] Yeah it's just fall and a slow day, nevermind. [A beat] Toph, that sword we talked about is all yours; Zuko, it'll take a little longer than I thought - my bad.

[UGH UGH UGH. Okay, after that she goes back to her Day As Sokka - get out of the Smithy as soon as humanly possible without making things suspicious (even if she's actually gotten the hang of basic tasks there), go home, awkwardly dance around doing things for dinner, practice with the boomerang (also re-getting the hang of that), go to town, try to dick around on a guitar for a while (she needs to do something interesting, okay?).

...Basically if you want to find "Sokka" in an action bit, you can. Pick your poison.]

[A boy, specially Sokka. It's all at once a fantasy come true and a nightmare and frankly, she's more worried than anything. Worried about what Sokka will do with her body, and worried about trying to keep up the role that she's setting out to do today. ...And rolling her eyes about the fact that Sokka literally has a schedule for her to follow.

Okay, so given her meet up with Sokka earlier she's already missed training with Souji, probably, so she just takes his boomerang and a sword and tries to get the hang of both of them until she goes to the Smithy.

Once at the Smithy, there's a lot of lounging, a lot of "looking" like she's busy (even though she's really just trying to get the hang of things) with projects Sokka was doing, and then doing new projects just to get the hang of forging some more. Possibly some accidents. From there, she'll be heading home-

For Dinner. Dinner is important, according to Sokka, so she's making sure that she's there early for that. It's awkward not to make or at least help make it though, so she might be lingering unnecessarily near the kitchen for a while beforehand and guilty doing more to clean up afterwords. And then...

The dreaded after-dinner. Dealing with Suki is what she dreads the most, but she might have some unfortunate encounters with other housemates too. Not sure how to do that or to end such encounters, she'll just do her best to survive the very... interesting first day.]

Three announcements, Luceti! In order of importance, so if you're listening at least stick around for the first one.

Number one: all of you show up at House 37 - that's the one in the square - on the night of the 13th - that's this Saturday, for those of you not getting the message. There'll be a special surprise Brigade-sponsored event that's been a long time coming!

[Okay, so it's super-late and she's actually a little bored of it by now but she did go to all the effort - or rather the Brigade did - to set it up. In light of that, she might as well try to get it off the ground. She informed the Brigade of her plans yesterday, as well as gave them some tasks for the night of. Even if it's not a success, she'll be annoyed, but with so many of the original people involved out of it... eh. Oh well]

Number two: If you don't know who the SOS-Brigade is, listen up! If you do, also listen up! We're Luceti's premiere source of fun and excitement, a bastion of entertainment and joy in a village filled with listeless people! And right now, we're recruiting! Talk to me if you want in, because I - Haruhi Suzumiya, chief of the SOS-Brigade - would be glad to see if you're up to it!

And finally, three: my birthday was on the 31st. In light of the circumstances around that time, I'll forgive any of you who forgot to give me gifts at that time [she means her friends, specifically, but doesn't clarify] so don't worry about it. Looking for people who look interesting, playing with things and people, and generally out to see if there's anything interesting. If everyone the other day was right she'll be back to "normal" soon, so. Might as well enjoy herself right now

The school term's ending next week, days are hotter - well, aside from today, I guess - and longer, and I just got back from a beach trip. It's really starting to feel like summer, huh? Summer! If only we had chlorine... I guess we could still do bug catching, but there aren't even cicadas here, so the only interesting thing left is fireflies...

Ooo-kay, do you guys know what July 7th is? You only get two guesses, so you better get it right! Go!

[She laughs at the end of this. Rena's gone home and she's aware of this by now... but she's trying to keep in high spirits. In light of other things going on it's better that way and in light that the casino is finally done, all she needs to do is pick a date. Not to mention her boat is done even if she needs to furnish it... speaking of]

Also, a flag. Boats need flags, right? Someone step up help us out with that, I'll give you some cookies for it - home baked, of course.

[...Hm There's a chirp from Sekai in the background, and she nods] Or furniture. Summer just makes you want to try new things, right? It's like with your cells, you need to replace them now and again, so if anyone needs some old chairs or couches or what not I'm willing or organize a trade. Just this once, we'll go for an even trade - for quality like the stuff in my house, this is a real bargain!

[She said without consulting her housemates. As a result of this, one might find Haruhi sitting on the porch of House 10 imperiously watching for anyone strong enough to pass the house that she can force into being a laborer for her. There's a lot of random furniture that while it's been there a while she's not super-attached to, and might as well go for some new things. Sekai is also derping around in the yard as only a large rooster can]

[Okay so she's still on the tailend of recovering from the cold she had when she came back from the draft, but by now the fever has (mostly) subsided and she no longer feels tired all the time which leads her to make an important announcement:]

Keiichi, come pick up your stupid boyfriend, he doesn't need to creep around my house and play nurse anymore! Or... Minako! You get over here and help me get him in a proper nurse uniform if he thinks he can hang around like this! Neku, you're a man, why haven't you kicked him out yet--

[And then there's a scramble because... Minato may or may not have taken note of her doing this. Fuuuuuh. Oh wait-]

[Aaaaand here she's forced away from her book :C She's been bedridden/otherwise kept mostly at or around home for a while now, so for Brigade people assume she has not been at meetings since she got back. And aside from her message that she was alive right when she got back (here) she hasn't exactly gone out of her way to contact anyone.

[This post comes up about an hour after the draft announcement and her reaction to it. It's cool, simple, to the point. Fur now, she's been training in magic and hand to hand, but neither is going to be efficient here, so-]

Naturally, prep work on the project takes priority. We're been making some headway already, but I'll be expecting your best work in the coming week and I assume we'll be done by Friday of next week at very latest with getting the walls down and making things fit together right! We'll begin furnishing after that! I expect the best!

Hey Luceti! This is your special chance to do a favor for the one and only SOS-Brigade. We're in need of all of the following, so any takers should step forth now! We require: A skilled martial artist, a mathematician, a mechanic who doesn't already work at the smithy, some big meat head - preferably six or more feet tall, a representative from the bar, someone who can fly, someone skilled at hair-care, a skilled massager, a geneticist, anyone who can walk on water and... a hacker, preferably a space-age one.

[Also if you want to find for for action, this evening sees Haruhi going out to outside of House 10 where she's set up some dummies and practicing her martial arts on them. She's good, but she feels sorely out of practice - her muscles aren't keeping up with her brain, and the results are frustrating]

Brigade, for those who missed the memo, we collected three new members of late. They were introduced before, but to clarify, the cartoony rabbit thing is Oswald and that other guy is Ayumu, and apparently he's a zombie. We also got Ellis, but I've not seen hide or hair of him- anyone who knows anything about him should report to me ASAP.

[...] Oh, right, and if you didn't notice yet, Minako's gone. [She didn't know for sure when Minato or whoever left her the gift, but it's hard not to miss now

...And then there's Usagi, but she's gone, apparently. That still feels like a kick to the gut, so she's not going to address that. Well, she has things to do today, but let's throw up some filters first:]

[...Okay, she can do this. She's normal, finally (or so she'd like to convince herself) and because of that it's time to get to business.]

...Okay, Brigade, if you didn't get the memo yet we've lost a lot of members- including Naoki and Yoohoo, among others. [Her voice dips. But then there's a slapping sound and she presses on, her tone getting brighter] But that's beside the point! New feathers, there's a lot of you guys now, and old feathers too, some of you guys must want some excitement in your life, right?! Ever feel that budding sense of your existence here being meaningless?! Well, think no further, because for a short time only the SOS-Brigade is accepting applications for new members to our illustrious ranks!

But some of you might think "Wow I'm lame and have been living under a rock and/or haven't read the guide, what is this completely amazing sounding organization," right? Since you asked, I'll answer free of charge!

So there you have it! And, like I said, we're accepting applications! So hurry up and speak up so that I, Haruhi Suzumiya, can process you and determine if you have the right stuff!

[Buuut, once that announcement is made in ther break time for school at about 10:30 AM (and thus replies might be later in the day) Haruhi has places to be. She's being low-key about it, but it is White Day, after all. So, during her lunch break at school she sets off- she had her Winry Day yesterday, but she owes Winry something in return. Thus, with a bag over her shoulder around 12:30PM she's made her way to Winry's house to knock.

From there, back to school, finishing it up, the Brigade meeting... and then loitering around town is her MO for the afternoon. She got chocolate for all of the guys in the Brigade (plus Neku and maybe some others) after all, and even she's not voicing it she expects things back from there. ...And Minato. And Keiichi. But she's not going to press the issue there because even she's not sure she wants them. But if you see her lurking around the square in the afternoon that's why.]

The snow's been melting left and right already, and today is even hotter than all the other days so far, right?! So pretty soon it's going to be spring, and we've got lots of important things to do in spring! Sokka. I'm- [After what she knows she's going to say above and how she's felt in the last few days, she's surprised how easy this is to say. Her voice comes of dead though, hollow. She's beyond feeling anything beyond a miserable numbness] sorry. Thank you for the help on the teleporter.

[And with that, her moral obligations are complete. And no, she doesn't feel any need to contact Keiichi or Minato. Housemates might find her locked in her own room all day aside from if she goes to visit anyone in the threads, but otherwise, there's nothing action-y here]

So everyone, Valentines is supposed to be about love and stuff, right? But have you ever thought what's up with that Saint Valentine guy who originated the holiday?! Given that it's still popular today, is he just some famous dead guy, or is he now a ghost, trying to appeal to everyone's mind and manipulate them?! Wouldn't that explain how it's popular in both Japan and the West?

Bearing that in mind, even if this holiday is kinda stupid, it's still important to adhere to certain traditions in hopes of seeing any possible Valentines spirits. Because of that, I've gotten chocolate for some of you.

[...Namely all of the guys in the Brigade and grudgingly Minato. She considered some others, like Neku or Sokka, but decided against it. She also considered Winry but she's not sure if that's too weird or not. That said, delivering them? No, she's carrying them around in her bag in case she runs into people for other reasons and failing that going to put what's left in a basket at the HQ after she's done.]

More importantly-! A bunch of you have heard about the beach, right?! And you're all psyched to go there this summer?! Well, brought to you by our SOS-Brigade's genius scientist, Leon [this next part is muttered quickly and might not be heard:] andsomehelpfromSokka we're bringing you the all-new Beach Teleportation System! You know how the ones for the Hot Springs work, right?! Same thing here! The village-end for the teleporter is located in the barracks, and the other end is way off, so we can have easy access once it warms up!

[For the record, this post comes a few hours after this entry but on the same day. Haruhi is making an important dictation! Oh and for the record she currently has waxy green skin, red eyes, long brown hair, but otherwise looks relatively normal. She was somewhat offput she couldn't bend spoons. But either way, she now sets off her dictation with]

Hey! Some of you heard the slander of those impostor mes earlier, right?! Those two were my insubordinate idiot minions, none of them actions or words should be considered a representation of the SOS-Brigade in the least, got it? [She makes a sage nod here, folding her arms, before spreading them wide and shrugging]

With that in mind though... The SOS-Brigade is now open and willing to accept new members! Right now we're quite strong, sporting my vice chief Rena, my Deputy, Taichi [And now she starts to list on her fingers, counting them off] Minako, Mikage, Kurt, Naoki, Yoohoo, Uriko, Leon, Keiichi, Hanyuu, and of course the one and only Anne of Green Gables! Our illustrious order is the most impressive organization within this barrier, bar none, so if you want to do something worthwhile and fun with your life here, then please step forward! I'm feeling generous, so we'll accept all applications right now for consideration in the final stage!

[Inhale and then exhale] What's more, if you have a mystery to be solved, had a mystery to be solved, or will have a mystery to be solved in the near future, come to our HQ in the center of town and we'll look into it. Alright?

[From a hiding place (a not particularly good one per say, but a hiding place of the spare room on the second floor of her her house) she begins what she knows will be hard for her to say. She sounds in no way comfortable as she starts with-]

Hey, Luce- [no that's stupid-] everyone I know. Or... yeah, everyone I know, or other people, I don't care! [That got harsh. She's awkward here] Look-! ...Look. Anyone that knew that guy, Haruki Suzumiya that wasn- ... The was... [UGH. The letter in her hand crumples a bit as she pushes it together, awkward] ...Whatever, forget it! Jeez, damn Malnosso. It's not important!

[ ... ... A minute later]

...No. It is important, after all. Look- that guy, I have his- no, I have my own memories, which are basically his except I'm in them and none of you remember it like that. [Dammit dammit she sounds like she's repeating a point. Things she's already said. Dammit. There's a growl of frustration before she slips up out of her chair to pace, leaving the journal on the table but still talking loud enough to be recorded] I have memories, alright?! So I know some of you- a lot of you, I guess. But- [...] But I guess, you guys don't know me. You-

[ARGH. she looks again at the letter and then crumbles it into a ball. She throws it at the floor and then presses on, stopping in place and yelling now]

Some of you liked that guy, right?! Some of you were friends and some of you lo- [gulp-] loved that guy, right?! I'm not that guy- it's been two weeks since I showed too, so unless he Malnosso are bigger assholes than anyone thought I'm not going to be that guy either. [But if she is, if she 'reverts back' next week or tomorrow, this post is meaningless. ...Maybe it still is. But it feels like her heart is breaking and she needs to do something. Even as she stays all this, she feels no catharsis though, only her hollow dread turning into a real fear - a fear, what? Rejection? Probably, but fear of something tangible is better than something she doesn't even know the face]

So- ... So fine, that's that! We're different, alright?! And I was expecting you to forget but- fine! Don't forget him, it doesn't matter! [...UGH. Dammit, she's losing the point again. She crouches, picking up the crumbled ball of the letter]

...I know things can't be the same as I remember them, but I guess things also won't be the same as you remember. I want to just pick up where I left off but that's- [...dammit] That's not completely possible, is it? It's not like I'm a time traveler and can go back and change things and- [...she could change it to everyone remembering her. But that's not fair, even if she did know how to manage it. And last time. She mutters-] ...And Leon would screw it up again

So what I'm saying is that... I'm Haruhi. I'm the Chief of the SOS-Brigade, and- and if you knew that Haruki guy we can start over, starting now! And if you didn't know that guy, then it doesn't matter because I'm me and whatever he said or did doesn't matter to you anyway! ["judge me only as me"]

So, hi everyone, it's nice to meet you! [Should she add "I hope you'll look after me?" ...No, that's just stupid. She should leave it at that.]

[So Haruhi... arrived this morning. Or well, last night? Somewhere in there, and she learned the truth the hard way. She's yet to test it, but she's got no reason to think Mikage was lying unless it was an elaborate troll, in which case she'll beat him into the ground.

Thus, once it's a more sensible hour of the day, she clears her throat after waking up - and skimming the journals, getting a brief feel for how things are right now, but afraid to look back and see Haruki so not that far - in the Brigade room (if for whatever reason you character would be there in the morning, feel free to run into her then btw):]

Hey, Luceti, listen up!

She's got two locations in mind. In order, she's heading to Winry's house (House 23) to knock on it and look for her, and then once she deduces Winry is missing (and in a much more foul mood) she's matching to claim back House 10. Naturally, your character is free to run into her on the way to or at either of these locations as well
